THE ARTS SOCIETY
TAUNTON VALE

Every month, with the exception of July, August and December, an accredited TAS lecturer is invited to give a talk on a variety of arts based subjects. We meet at Cheddon Fitzpaine Memorial Hall on the third Tuesday of the month. The lectures begin at 2.30pm, and last just over an hour, but please come earlier and have a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits with other members and make new friends.

As well as lectures we have an annual Summer Lunch, in 2018 in May, for all members and in September new members are welcomed to a special Buffet Lunch.

The 2017 programme included a tour of the Royal Mint and a visit to the Cowbridge Physic Garden. There was also a five-day tour to North-west England. More information on the Visits page.

Each year we organise a Day of Special Interest to allow members to pursue a topic in greater depth. This often takes the form of two hours in the morning and one and a half hours in the afternoon with a delicious sandwich lunch and a glass of wine. More information on these from croxhall@gmail.com or 01823 400474.
